Elevate Construction’s founder and CEO, Andrew Abbott, was born into a large family of 12 children. His mother was a stay at home mom and his dad was a self employed contractor. Since he can remember, he has worked on job sites with his father. Those early days were formative. He was learning the basics, from how to swing a hammer, use a utility knife, and a circular saw. It was those years where he learned the value of hard work.
Andrew has also worked for Compassion Canada, which is a humanitarian aid organization helping end poverty around the world. Andrew has a heart for people. Many people think construction is just about building things, which is somewhat true, but running a company that exceeds expectations is not. It’s about good communication and listening to people's desires and needs.
